Humans of New York

In November 2010, blogger and photographer, Brandon Stanton, created a blog featuring the various characters, tenants and explorers of New York City. Over the past 6 years, Stanton’s work has gathered a huge following. From his blog he has a following of 18million people on Facebook and 6.2 million people on Instagram.

Each story and portrait withhold a heartwarming story or journey which readers love. Commenters express their love and support in each and every post for that particular partaker. The project had gone from strength to strength and has even resulted in a book. A book which spent an admirable 29 weeks on the New York Bestsellers list.

Even 26 of my friends like the page!

“Inspired by Humans of New York, hundreds of ‘Humans of’ blogs have developed around the world.”
